Rachid Sefrioui is a founder and operating venture capitalist with over 30 years of experience building and scaling business ecosystem groups. He is the Managing Director of Finaventures and Executive Chairman of EverPower.AI Group, a 9-subsidiary energy-transition platform focused on residential microgrids, AI-enabled load relief, and distributed infrastructure deployment across 10 states (Last Mile of Energy). EverPower.AI is backed by Finaventures.
He previously founded and built Finatech Group, an 18-subsidiary telecom and tech-infrastructure ecosystem (Last Mile of Data), which was acquired by a 42B diversified financial & technology holding. His inaugural 2000 investment vehicle executed 12 portfolio investments across the First Mile of Computing, resulting in 2 IPOs, 8 M&A exits, and 2 wind-downs.
Prior to founding Finaventures in 1999, Rachid worked at McKinsey & Company in operations and restructuring, at Bowco Management in growth equity, and at Credit Agricole Indosuez/Wafatrust, where he contributed to managing an $18B corporate and investment banking portfolio.
Rachid holds a degree in Management and Operations Research (Applied Math) from Case Western Reserve University, a Blockchain Technologies Certificate from MIT, and a Corporate Directors Certificate from Harvard Business School.
